The 41st session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee was held Kraków (Poland) from 2 to 12 July 2017 (40th year, UNESCO inscriptions listing started in 1978) with 21 new sites inscribes (+ 5 extensions).

The World Heritage List currently includes 1073 properties (as of July 12, 2017) forming part of the cultural and natural heritage which the World Heritage Committee considers as having outstanding universal value.

These includes:
832 cultural [Cultural sites] properties
206 natural [Natural sites] properties
35 mixed [Mixed sites] properties
2 delisted sites (Germany & Oman sites)
37 transboundary sites (same site listed in more than 1 country)

Those 1073 properties are located in 167 countries (latest 2 are Angola & Eritrea).

All properties information listed on our website are sourced from the official UNESCO World Heritage website (including translation of sites info in French, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, Spanish, Japanese and Dutch by UNESCO/BPI)
